Job summary

CGI Eindhoven seeks a Lead Data Engineer to design modern cloud-native data platforms using AWS and Databricks, powering analytics and AI across industries. You will mentor engineers and influence best practices within the Data & Analytics practice.

You will design data lakes/warehouses, build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, and shape data models and governance while collaborating with architects and stakeholders in an agile environment.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
Experience with cloud-native data platforms
Strong knowledge of Data Engineering, ETL/ELT, Data Modeling, and Data Warehousing

Responsibilities

Design and develop Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Lakehouse solutions.
Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and real-time processing.
Design data models, data quality, and governance solutions.
Implement cloud-native data architectures on AWS.
Develop event-driven and serverless solutions.
Support analytics, BI, AI, and ML initiatives.
Coach Data Engineers and contribute to architecture and design decisions.
Collaborate within Agile teams on innovative client solutions.
