Job summary

DeWarmte is building technology to move homes away from gas, combining hardware, embedded control software, cloud services and data. You will own and evolve control software and the data platform, while recruiting and mentoring engineers to create durable, shared ownership of the product.

You will start hands-on, writing code, diagnosing real-world behavior and delivering new functionality, then scale the team and practices to reduce key-person dependency across the product.

Qualifications

• Experience developing control or embedded software for physical products, machines or connected devices.
• Strong hands-on software engineering experience with ownership of production systems.
• Ability to recruit, onboard and mentor engineers and design repeatable engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Own and improve our control software, shaping architecture and release practices.
• Build and maintain a scalable product data platform with reliable data pipelines.
• Lead a team of controls, embedded-software and data engineers; reduce key-person dependency.
