Job summary

Sire Search is seeking a proactive Data Governance & Risk Manager to strengthen our data management framework and oversight of data-related risks. You will align data strategies with strategic growth and 2030 objectives, advising senior management and risk committees on controls and risk reporting.

With 5–10 years in financial data management, you will drive policy adoption, awareness programs with Compliance, and cross-functional collaboration across international teams in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of experience in data management within financial institutions.
• Second-line risk management or control function experience.
• Strong organizational skills and practical application of expertise.
• Ability to work effectively in an international environment.
• Energetic, decisive, and persistent in change-driven settings.

Responsibilities

• Act as a strategic advisor on data management policies and control objectives across the organization.
• Develop and align control measures and objectives based on the evolving IT and data landscape.
• Lead awareness programs on data management best practices in collaboration with Compliance.
• Provide expert advice to senior management and risk committees on data management risks and controls.
• Oversee the reporting of data management risk profiles within the enterprise risk management framework.
• Support the internal team by enhancing their knowledge and understanding of data risk controls.
