Job summary

NN Group is seeking an experienced Data Engineering Lead to inspire and connect a global community of data and platform engineers. You will be the ambassador for modern data engineering, shaping practices, standards, and learning journeys across NN Group and multiple businesses.

You will combine hands-on technical leadership with community building, driving adoption of data solutions, and fostering an open engineering culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Platform Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with modern data platforms and lakehouse technologies (Databricks experience is a strong plus)

Responsibilities

• Inspire and support a global community of 350+ data engineers and platform engineers.
• Organize and facilitate guild events, meetups, hackathons and community initiatives.
• Create opportunities for engineers to learn from each other and share successes, challenges, and lessons learned.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and collaboration across NN Group.
