Job summary

NN Group N.V. in The Netherlands seeks a Solution Architect for Data & AI Services to define and drive enterprise architectures that enable NN’s data-driven and AI-powered future.

You guide engineers, influence architectural decisions, and promote engineering excellence. You will bridge business needs with product, engineering, and enterprise architecture, ensuring secure, scalable, and reusable data products.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience in solution architecture, software engineering, platform engineering, or related fields.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale Data & AI solutions.
• Proven track record delivering complex data, analytics, or AI platforms.
• Proven expertise in Data & AI platforms, data products, Data Mesh, MLOps/AgentOps, data governance, data quality.
• Solid software engineering background with Python, APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture, DevSecOps, observability, and SDLC best practices.
• Strong knowledge in cloud and platform engineering across Azure, AWS, Kubernetes, PaaS, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD automation, and cloud security.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other architects and stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A good command of both Dutch and English is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end architectures for Data & AI Products.
• Translate business outcomes and product visions into scalable technical solutions.
• Design integration patterns across Data Governance, Data Engineering, AI Engineering, and BI domains.
• Ensure data products are reusable, discoverable, secure, and aligned with governance standards.
• Lead Architecture Decision Records (ADRs) and design reviews.
• Act as trusted advisor to Product Managers, Product Owners, Engineering Managers, and development teams.
