Job summary

NN Group N.V. is seeking an Engineering Manager for Observability & FinOps to lead and empower product teams.

You will own the way of working, reliability and the development of engineers within the Observability Platform and FinOps teams, aligning engineering execution with product priorities and customer value. You will collaborate with Product Owners and leadership to drive strategic workforce planning, drive data-driven practices, and enable scalable, automated, reliable products across NN’s

Qualifications

3+ years of experience leading and coaching technical teams.
Strong knowledge of observability and cloud FinOps practices.
Experience collaborating with Product Owners and leadership to align goals.

Responsibilities

Lead and coach teams toward modern engineering practices with focus on reliability and automation.
Establish and track OKRs with Product Owner and leadership for reliability and product outcomes.
Manage staffing, hiring, onboarding, and retention via NN People Cycle processes.
Create Strategic Workforce Planning aligned with product strategy.
Balance delivery commitments with debt reduction and long-term architecture goals.
Drive a data-driven engineering culture using observability metrics and SLOs.
Empower teams by removing impediments and fostering growth.
Cultivate a culture where engineers enjoy learning and deliver customer value.
