Job summary

Gazelle Global in Utrecht is seeking a Data Engineer to design and maintain scalable ETL pipelines, integrating structured and unstructured data into a Hitachi Content Platform back end for archival and analytics.

You will work with cross-functional teams to optimize data architectures, develop Python/PowerShell scripts across Windows and Linux, and ensure secure, searchable archives with clear documentation.

Qualifications

• Developing Python or PowerShell scripts across Windows and Linux platforms.
• UI development experience, ideally with React.
• Experience creating playbooks in Ansible Automation Platform.
• Working knowledge of MSSQL and Oracle databases.
• Knowledge of Hitachi Content Platform.
• Knowledge of Solr.

Responsibilities

• Based on demand build ETL architecture transferring data into an HCP Object store for archiving.
• Build bespoke archives of data to satisfy regulation and compliance needs.
• Create a generic framework to ingest decommissioned application data into searchable archives.
• Deliver a standard interface for searching archives securely.
• Code, test, document, and maintain automated data pipelines.
• Help design and build infrastructure for data extraction, loading, and transformation.
• Build analytics tools using the data pipeline for actionable insights.
• Test, document, and hand over to the customer; deliver at pace.
