Job summary

A leading technology staffing agency is seeking a Data Engineer for a position in Amsterdam. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in data engineering, strong SQL skills, and programming experience in C# and/or Python. As a preferred supplier to a major Financial Client, Gazelle Global is seeking a Data Engineer (SQL Server & C#/Python) for a position in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Configuration of new data sources.
• Implementation of data quality rules.
• Monitoring performance and incidents.

Qualifications / Core Requirements

• 5 years or more of experience in data engineering, data quality, data integration patterns and techniques.
• Experience in Agile / Scrum or Kanban.
• Microsoft SQL Server RDBMS, SQL, T-SQL.
• Programming data logic in C# and / or Python.
• Scripting with PowerShell.
• File handling and transfer (XFB).
• Data modeling on relational and physical level.
• Knowledge of IT-Risk and Security Standards in banking industry.
• Identifying, diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving production issues by using a range of monitoring, test and alerting tools (configuration, change, incident and problem management).
• Ability to automate and execute test cases.
