Job summary

Sia is hiring a Data Engineer Consultant in Amsterdam to join the Data Science team and shape its future. You will drive client projects and internal AI solutions, applying a strong quantitative background and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Focus areas include Python development, SQL databases, Docker/Kubernetes, cloud services (GCP, AWS, Azure), CI/CD, and data pipelines, with emphasis on secure, scalable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• You hold a Master's Degree with a strong quantitative focus.
• You have 1-3 years of relevant Data/DevOps/Cloud/Software Engineering experience.
• You have solid Python skills and know SQL databases (PostgreSQL preferred).
• You are familiar with at least one cloud platform (GCP/AWS/Azure).
• You have Docker, CI/CD experience and an interest in Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

• Work on client projects and build Sia AI solutions with the French Data Engineering team.
• Develop data pipelines, ETL scripts and scalable data processing.
• Containerize apps with Docker and orchestrate with Kubernetes.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Ensure secure practices (certificate management, HTTPS, OAuth2).
