Job summary

Sia Partners in Amsterdam is looking for a Data Engineer Consultant to join their Data Science team. You will work on client projects, building AI solutions and managing ETL pipelines, and developing server-side tools.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s Degree with a quantitative focus, has 1–3 years of experience, and is skilled in Python, Docker, and Kubernetes, with excellent English and Dutch skills. The role offers a unique opportunity to work with a diverse team in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in Data, DevOps, Cloud, or Software Engineering.
• Familiar with at least one SQL DBMS, ideally PostgreSQL, and ideally NoSQL, ideally MongoDB.
• Excellent interpersonal and team working skills.
• Excellent English and Dutch verbal and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Work on client projects and build Sia AI solutions.
• Develop ETL scripts in Big Data environments.
• Manage CI/CD for applications and internal platforms.
• Containerize applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
