Job summary

Sia Partners in Rotterdam is looking for a Consultant Data Engineer to join their growing Data Science team. In this role, you will shape the future of the team while working on diverse client projects and developing innovative AI solutions.

The ideal candidate will hold a Master’s Degree in a quantitative field, possess strong skills in Python, and have relevant experience in Data and DevOps. Fluency in English and Dutch is required, and a strong interest in AI topics is essential.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in Data, DevOps, Cloud, or Software Engineering.
• Familiar with at least one SQL DBMS (ideally PostgreSQL) and ideally noSQL (ideally MongoDB).
• Comfortable using Docker and automation of CI/CD pipelines.
• Sensitive to security issues and experienced in application protection solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal and team working skills.
• Fluent in English and Dutch (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Work on various client projects and build Sia AI solutions.
• Manage the integration and ongoing deployment of applications.
• Develop ETL scripts in Big Data environments.
• Implement solutions for Machine Learning workflows.
