Job summary

Data Engineer

Do you want to work as a data engineer on scalable and modern data infrastructures within organisations where reliable data is essential? Through Solid Professionals, you will work on an in depth assignment at organisations such as Rabobank, a.s.r. or Eneco. You build data solutions that directly impact analytics, reporting and decision making, with room to further deepen your technical expertise.

As a data engineer, you design, build and optimise data infrastructures in complex environments. You develop and maintain data pipelines, work with cloud platforms and contribute to technical and architectural decisions. The exact scope differs per assignment, but the core always remains the same: making data reliably, scalably and effectively available for the business.

• a completed master's degree, for example in Computer Science, Information Science, Mathematics, Data Science or Artificial Intelligence
• a minimum of 3 years of experience as a data engineer or in a similar role
• strong knowledge of SQL and Python
• experience with PySpark and Databricks, or the willingness to quickly develop this skill
• experience with Azure or a comparable cloud platform
• you live in the Netherlands and are available full time

Through Solid Professionals, you work on one substantive assignment with one client at a time. You are employed by us for the duration of that assignment. This provides focus and clarity, with one assignment at a time and a contract aligned with the duration of the assignment.
