The Financial Data Analyst role focuses on delivering insights to support decision making, forecasting, budgeting and reporting with strong Excel skills and BI/SQL experience being a plus. You will work on one substantive assignment with one client at a time.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, MBA, Econometrics or similar.
• Minimum of 3 years in an analytical finance role (FP&A or financial analysis).
• Experience in financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting and reporting.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with financial models.
• Experience with BI tools, SQL or data platforms is a plus.
• Experience delivering analyses and advising stakeholders.

Financial Data Analyst

Do you want to work as a financial analyst delivering insights that directly support decision making within large corporates? Through Solid Professionals, you will work on a substantive assignment at organisations such as ABN AMRO, VodafoneZiggo and Stedin. You deliver sharp analyses, forecasts and scenarios in a dynamic and data driven environment, with visible impact on both operational and strategic decisions.

As a financial analyst, you analyse and interpret financial data to provide insight into performance, risks and opportunities. You are responsible for delivering analyses, forecasts and scenarios that are directly used in decision making. Depending on your experience, you act as a sparring partner for management and the business and contribute to improving financial processes, performance management and steering. The exact scope differs per assignment, but the core remains the same: delivering reliable and actionable insights that guide strategic and operational choices.

What we are looking for

• a completed master’s degree, for example in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Econometrics or a comparable field
• a minimum of 3 years of experience in an analytical role within finance, such as financial analysis or FP&A
• experience with financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting and reporting
• strong Excel skills and experience with financial models
• experience with BI tools, SQL or data platforms is a plus
• experience independently delivering analyses and advising stakeholders
• strong analytical skills and the ability to clearly translate complex information
• you live in the Netherlands and are available full time

Through Solid Professionals, you work on one substantive assignment with one client at a time. You are employed by us for the duration of that assignment. This provides focus and clarity, with one assignment at a time and a contract aligned with the duration of the assignment. Sometimes this is a temporary assignment, sometimes with the intention to transition into a permanent role with the client through a deta vast construction.
