Job summary

TNO invites motivated students to join an internship focused on data-efficient computer vision. You’ll explore methods that learn from limited labelled data and apply them to infrastructure inspection, asset monitoring, or process surveillance.

You will select one of three topics, work under supervision, and contribute to applied AI solutions with societal impact. The program emphasizes hands-on experimentation, literature review, and prototype development, with opportunities to publish research

Qualifications

• Background in AI/CS/Data Science with interest in ML for real-world applications.
• Basic programming skills in Python and experience with ML frameworks including PyTorch or TensorFlow are desirable.
• Curiosity, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Define a concrete research question with supervisor.
• Develop data-efficient CV methods for limited labelled data.
• Experiment with modern approaches and document results.
• Prepare a prototype and research report.
• Contribute ideas within the team.
