Job summary

Mindser Group seeks an experienced Commissioning Manager – Data Centre for multiple projects in the Netherlands. This is a 100% freelance on-site contract, with work authorization within the EU required. German language skills are essential; English is an advantage.

Role involves leading commissioning across electrical, mechanical and critical infrastructure, coordinating vendors, and ensuring readiness for handover. Projects start soon (next 2 months) with durations of 6–18 months.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Commissioning Manager on data centre or critical projects.
• Strong electrical engineering background and higher engineering education.
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders and vendors on site.

Responsibilities

• Own commissioning strategy, planning and execution across site systems.
• Develop commissioning programme and integrate with construction activities.
• Oversee commissioning across electrical, mechanical, and critical infrastructure systems.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors and testing specialists.
• Manage FAT, SAT, IST and integrated testing per specs.
• Act as on-site escalation point for commissioning issues.
• Ensure documents, test results and sign-offs are complete.
• Support inspections and readiness for handover.
• Uphold HSE standards during testing.
