Clear in Amsterdam seeks a Commissioning Manager to own end-to-end commissioning lifecycle (Levels 1-5) for hyperscale data centres on-site in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Lead IST, develop tests, resolve defects, and ensure ASHRAE/Uptime compliance, working with global engineering teams and delivery consultants.

The role offers a permanent on-site rotation engagement with a market-competitive salary plus rotation package including working-away allowances, accommodation, and flights.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 8+ years of hands-on experience in testing and commissioning mission-critical data centres or complex facilities.
• Strong experience in Level 1-5 commissioning for electrical (UPS, generators, switchgear) and mechanical (chillers, CRAC/CRAH) systems.
• Knowledge of Uptime Institute tier standards and ASHRAE testing guidelines.
• Experience leading IST and managing deficiency tracking logs.
• Familiarity with BMS, EPMS, and automated control logic.
• EU passport and on-site availability in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Responsabilidades

• Direct and oversee the complete commissioning lifecycle (Levels 1-5) for electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
• Author and approve commissioning scripts, SOPs, and IST protocols.
• Lead IST activities including black-start and generator load-bank tests.
• Coordinate onsite with third-party agents, equipment manufacturers, and contractors.
• Log and resolve defects and punch-list items before handover.
• Ensure compliance with ASHRAE standards and local safety codes.
• Maintain thorough commissioning documentation and handover packages.
