Job summary

A global data center service provider in Amsterdam is seeking an ambitious Data Center Engineer. The role involves ensuring the efficiency of electrical and mechanical systems, performing preventative maintenance, and managing emergency situations. Applicants should have MBO 2 and a background in mechanical or electrical training, along with the ability to complete safety certifications. Qualifications

• Must have or be able to complete Safety for Operational Supervisors training (VCA) and OSHA 30 shortly after start of employment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment operates at peak efficiency.
• Conduct periodic inspections and maintain mechanical equipment rooms.
• Collaborate on preventive maintenance programs and improve efficiency.

Skills

Working knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems

Good verbal and written communication skills in English

Education

MBO 2

Mechanical and/or Electrical training/education with focus in power

LV/HV authorized to switch Certificate (NEN3140-NEN3840)
