Job summary

Salute Inc. in Amsterdam, Netherlands, is seeking a Data Center Shift Engineer to maintain electrical, mechanical and fire/life safety systems in our data centers.

The role covers preventative maintenance, daily corrective tasks, and emergency response, with a 3-shift pattern including night shifts. You will report to the Data Center Site Manager and coordinate with vendors to ensure uptime above 99.999%, while adhering to safety standards and procedures.

Qualifications

• Electrical and mechanical training with focus on power.
• Safety for Operational Supervisors training (VCA) and OSHA 30 soon after start.
• Good verbal and written English communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintains electrical, mechanical, and fire life safety equipment in the data center.
• Performs planned preventative maintenance and daily corrective work.
• Responds to emergencies and abnormal conditions in related systems.
• Inspects equipment for defects and ensures uptime targets.
