Job summary

Edison Smart® seeks a Project Director – Owner’s Representative for a data center program. You will lead planning, design, construction, commissioning, and closeout, coordinating owner, design partners, contractors, vendors, and regulators to ensure safe, on-schedule delivery within budget and quality standards.

You bring strong project-management and commercial judgment, with stakeholder-management skills and technical understanding to protect the owner’s interests throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
• Experience managing commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
• Experience acting as owner’s representative or managing projects for an owner.
• Knowledge of design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout processes.
• Ability to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from planning through closeout, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget targets.
• Serve as primary owner contact with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors.
• Set objectives, plans, milestones, and reporting requirements for projects.
• Coordinate activities across internal and external teams and resolve issues.
• Monitor risks, cost, and performance, implementing corrective actions.
• Oversee design reviews, construction oversight, and commissioning activities.
