Job summary

A leading data center operator is seeking a Data Center Construction Director to oversee the construction of new data centers across Europe. The ideal candidate will have over 15 years of experience in large construction firms or datacenter developers and hold an MSc in construction management or engineering. Responsibilities include project management, compliance with all technical regulations, and installation oversight for critical equipment. This role is vital for ensuring the success of our rapidly expanding projects in the data center sector.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in a construction company or datacenter developer.
• Expertise in solving deviations in scope or execution.
• Knowledge of international construction regulations.
• Expertise in solving large deviations in scope or execution of contracts.
• Experience in procurement in real estate, industry or construction markets.
• Proven track record in project value engineering, risk management and commercial management.

We Are Looking for Someone Who

• 15 years plus experience in a big construction company and / or datacenter developer.
• MSc degree in construction management, civil, electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Experienced and knowledgeable in modern, industrialised construction processes and all technical, legal and regulation aspects of construction projects in an international setting.
• Expert in solving big deviations in scope or execution of contracts.
• Experienced in procurement processes in the real estate, industry or construction market.
• Proven experience in project (value) engineering, risk management, construction and commercial management for a construction company.
