Job summary

FairPlay Engineering is seeking an experienced Lead Engineer Electrical to take technical ownership of complex power distribution projects for data centres in international settings. You will drive technical execution from concept to commissioning and coordinate diverse engineering teams to ensure quality and timely delivery.

You will act as the main technical liaison for clients and internal stakeholders, guiding planning, budgets, and testing activities while supporting manufacturing,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 7 years as Lead Engineer or Senior Electrical Engineer.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong knowledge of low- and medium-voltage power distribution.
• Experience with switchgear, transformers, and PDUs.
• Familiarity with IEC 61439 and other standards.
• Experience with FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and client-facing communication.

Responsibilities

• Technically execute complex electrical power distribution projects from concept through commissioning.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and ensure alignment across disciplines.
• Act as the primary technical contact for clients and internal stakeholders.
• Oversee engineering quality, planning, and budgets across projects.
• Support manufacturing, installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Interact with suppliers, factories, project sites, and customers throughout the lifecycle.
