Job summary

A2G Consulting BV (A2G Technologies) is seeking a Data Center Network Architect to design scalable, secure enterprise connectivity. The role emphasizes Cisco ACI/Nexus expertise, F5 load balancing, and automation-driven network provisioning in a hybrid Amsterdam environment.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in complex data center networks, strong architecture skills, and TOGAF/ArchiMate familiarity. 12-month contract with extension potential and visa sponsorship options may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in designing and deploying connectivity solutions in complex enterprise data center environments.
• Expert knowledge of Cisco ACI and Cisco Nexus.
• Strong experience with F5 Load Balancing (GTM/LTM).
• Expertise in data center routing and switching.
• Experience with application-centric firewalling and micro-segmentation.
• Strong understanding of network architecture and infrastructure integration.
• Experience translating business requirements into architectural solutions.
• Knowledge of automation technologies, including APIs, cURL, and Git.
• Understanding of ITIL processes and operational service management.
• Cisco CCIE Data Center (CCIE DC) certification - highly preferred.
• Knowledge of LAN, SD-WAN, compute, databases, and storage.
• Familiarity with TOGAF and ArchiMate.
• Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe.
• AI experience in network automation or infrastructure optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design and enhance enterprise-grade data center connectivity products and solutions aligned with customer requirements and architecture roadmaps.
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, secure, and standardized network architectures.
• Design, develop, and validate new products through PoC and pilot implementations.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Domain Architects, security teams, and infrastructure product teams.
• Align connectivity solutions with compute, storage, databases, LAN, and SD-WAN requirements.
• Contribute to product roadmaps by evaluating customer demand, technology lifecycle, and market innovations.
• Ensure deployment quality, operational readiness, and alignment with ITIL practices.
• Lead root cause analysis for recurring or high-impact incidents and drive continuous improvement.
• Leverage APIs, cURL, Git, and automation technologies to improve network provisioning and deployment efficiency.
• Explore opportunities to apply AI and automation to network operations and infrastructure optimization.

Your Profile & DNA:
