Job summary

ING Bank NL invites an experienced Enterprise Architect (Data & Analytics) to shape target architectures and guide the global roadmap across ING NL and Group. You will design federated data and analytics platforms, balancing consistency with domain autonomy while ensuring security and compliance.

You will work with senior architects, business leaders, product owners and engineers, supported by a Chapter Lead for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field.
• 5+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, preferably data & analytics.
• Proven experience with large-scale data and analytics platforms on-premise and in public cloud (GCP).
• Strong data governance and security/compliance understanding (GDPR, AI Act, DORA).

Responsibilities

• Translate business and technology strategy into target architectures, principles and models for data, analytics and AI.
• Execute and steer the global Business & IT roadmap process with centralised designs and decompositions.
• Design and evolve ING’s data & analytics platform for federated usage across domains.
• Manage the complexity of delivering data, analytics and AI at scale with domain autonomy.
• Collaborate with domain and solution architects to deliver end-to-end business services.
• Maintain relationships with area leads, product owners and engineers to influence direction.
• Identify architectural improvements to keep solutions fit for purpose, secure and cost-effective.
