Job summary

Babcock International Group - Africa is seeking a proactive sales-oriented technician to develop and maintain profitable customer relationships in Middelburg, Netherlands. The role focuses on selling company products to meet budgeted order intake and revenue while expanding margins.

The ideal candidate will have post-trade experience as an earthmoving/diesel mechanic with strong knowledge of machine applications, GET and undercarriage, plus several years of sales exposure.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Between 3 to 5 years Post Trade Qualification experience as Earthmoving/Diesel Mechanic.
• Sales and Marketing Degree will be advantageous.
• Between 3 to 5 years Sales experience.
• Product and market knowledge.
• Knowledge of machine applications and reasonable technical knowledge as well as GET and undercarriage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve customer relations.
• Increase parts and service sales.
• Carry out machine inspections on customer machines (care inspections).
• Maintain and sell Care-Track and service contracts.
• Resolve customer queries.
