Job summary

Fixico in Amsterdam is seeking a Chief Technology Officer to lead the Engineering organisation as it scales toward the US market, with 20+ engineers across Amsterdam and Sri Lanka. You will partner with the Founder/CEO and CPO to align product and engineering, driving delivery excellence and high-performing teams.

You will own budgets, vendor management, and engineering governance while fostering ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning across a world-class engineering organisation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Engineering leadership experience across multiple teams.
• Experience as CTO/Head of Engineering or similar in SaaS/marketplace environments.
• Proven track record scaling engineering in fast-growth settings.
• Strong people leadership with coaching and mentoring skills.
• Experience leading distributed international teams.
• Operational mindset with delivery planning and execution.
• Excellent stakeholder management at executive level.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Fixico's global Engineering organisation across Amsterdam and Sri Lanka.
• Build, coach, and scale a high-performing Engineering leadership team.
• Own Engineering delivery, planning and operational excellence across all squads.
• Drive Engineering strategy in partnership with Founder/CEO, Product and Commercial leadership.
• Create an environment where engineers can grow, perform and excel.
