Coda in Amsterdam is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing fullstack team. You will drive delivery of product and technical initiatives, recruit and mentor engineers, and own the roadmap for critical systems while collaborating with Product and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience and strong hands-on background
• 4+ years in technical leadership (Tech Lead/Engineering Manager)
• Experience designing, building, and operating large-scale production systems
• Solid understanding of software architecture, distributed systems and cloud platforms (AWS)
• Data-driven mindset with ability to improve team productivity in agile environments
• Excellent communication and people leadership across technical and non-technical teams
• Curious and adaptive with willingness to learn new technologies; security, cryptography, ML a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead a fullstack engineering team delivering product and technical initiatives
• Recruit, mentor, and develop engineers and support career growth
• Own key systems and drive technical direction and roadmap
• Guide prioritisation, tackle complex challenges, promote best practices
• Oversee timelines, resources, budget, and quality across projects
• Collaborate with Product and cross-functional teams on OKRs and delivery
