Job summary

QuantFi, a proprietary high-frequency trading firm in the crypto industry, is seeking a Trading Engineer to join our Schiphol-Rijk office. You will develop and scale the backend of our trading platform with a strong focus on low-latency finance.

We expect a MSc in a related field and at least 4 years of software experience, including 2+ years in Rust, plus expertise in SQL/NoSQL, networking, and building high-throughput systems.

Qualifications

• MSc degree in Engineering, CS, Math, Physics or Econometrics.
• 4+ years software experience with at least 2 years in Rust.
• Experience building high-throughput, low-latency software.
• Understanding of TCP/UDP networking.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Strong ownership and problem-solving mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and scale the backend of our trading platform.
• Implementing new trading strategies in collaboration with traders.
• Integrating and connecting third-party APIs.
• Operationally supporting traders.
