Job summary

Urban Outfitters is seeking a store visual merchandiser to lead the execution of all visual projects in store, delivering an inspiring and dynamic in-store experience for customers. You will partner with the display coordinator to deliver seasonal layouts and maintain the highest creative standards district-wide.

Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in visual merchandising, strong business acumen, and the ability to travel for periods away from a home store.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of driving sales through visual presentations.
• Understanding of Urban Outfitters culture and local market appeal.
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Project and time management experience.
• Willingness to travel away from home store.
• Retail management experience with creative interests in fashion, art, or music.

Responsibilities

• Interpret direction and fashion trends to deliver market-specific VM solutions.
• Lead and collaborate with store manager and coordinators for timely project execution.
• Manage seasonal display concepts with strong time management and planning.
• Communicate seasonal set-ups through photo layouts each quarter.
• Implement VM initiatives, window schemes and styling to high standards.
• Engage store teams through meetings and inspiration boards.
• Support merchandising concepts and trend communication to teams.
• Inspire others and share ideas from Head Office.
• Facilitate efficient shipment processing to maximise sales.
• Maintain organised offices and fixture rooms.
