Job summary

The Netherlands Institute for Multiparty Democracy (NIMD) in The Hague is seeking a new Supervisory Council member with expertise in international cooperation and democratisation. The role involves governance oversight and participation in the Remuneration Committee.

Qualifications

• Experience in international cooperation and democratisation.
• Experience as a supervisor or demonstrably strong governance sense.
• HRM experience due to Remuneration Committee responsibilities.
• Good command of Dutch and English, spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to governance as a member of the Supervisory Council and Remuneration Committee.
• Attend meetings in The Hague and participate in selection processes for new members.
• Provide strategic sparring for the Executive Director and advise on governance matters.
• Engage with international partners and understand geopolitical and socio-political context.
