Van Oord is seeking a proactive Recruiter to drive hiring opportunities globally. You take ownership of vacancies, partner with hiring managers, and build strong talent pipelines while focusing on quality and outcomes.

You will connect with stakeholders, use data and market insights to continually improve your approach, and contribute to a best-in-class candidate experience. English is essential, Dutch a plus. Hybrid work model offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least three years of recruitment experience.
• Experience managing the full recruitment cycle and partnering with hiring managers.
• Strong sourcing skills using LinkedIn Recruiter, talent pools and other channels.
• Use recruitment data to influence decisions and improve hiring performance.
• Experience with recruitment systems, preferably Avature.
• Excellent communication in English; Dutch is an advantage.

This role is not about posting vacancies and waiting for applications. We are looking for a recruiter who proactively creates hiring opportunities through sourcing, stakeholder management and labour market expertise.

As a Recruiter at Van Oord, you have a key role in helping our business grow. You work closely with hiring managers and HR colleagues to attract people who want to make a difference in projects around the world. You take full ownership of your vacancies. You challenge hiring managers, define the right recruitment strategy, proactively build talent pipelines and drive the process until the right hire is made. You easily switch between strategic conversations and day to day recruitment activities, while keeping quality and results in focus. You enjoy using data and market insights to improve your approach and are always looking for better ways of working. To be successful in this role, you bring:

• A bachelor\'s degree and at least three years of experience in recruitment, either in house or within an agency.
• Experience managing the full recruitment cycle and partnering with hiring managers.
• Strong sourcing skills and experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, talent pools and other recruitment channels.
• You use recruitment data to influence decisions, identify bottlenecks and continuously improve hiring performance.
• Experience working with recruitment systems, preferably Avature.
• You actively contribute to improving recruitment processes, ways of working and sharing best practices with the team.
• Excellent communication skills in English. Dutch is an advantage.
