Job summary

Green Energy Storage is seeking a Contract & Procurement Manager to lead the end-to-end procurement for large-scale battery projects in the Netherlands. You will draft tender documents, negotiate contracts, and align technical, legal and commercial inputs with internal teams and external partners.

The role offers responsibility, a dynamic growth environment, and a hybrid work option. You will shape procurement strategies across projects and contribute to a balanced, sustainable grid transition.

We are developing large-scale battery projects that contribute to a reliable, sustainable, and flexible electricity grid. Our team is growing rapidly, so we are looking for a Contract & Procurement Manager that ensures battery projects run smoothly from start to financial close.

Your Role

In this role, you'll be responsible for the entire procurement process: from drafting tender documents to negotiating contracts. You'll work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure all technical, commercial, and legal agreements are clearly and properly documented.

What are you going to do

• Tender & Procurement:You will manage the entire tender or purchasing process for new BESS projects and strategic equipment, from scope to contract.
• Contract & Risk:You negotiate conditions, guarantees, and risk management. Where necessary, you also act as contract manager during implementation.
• Coordination:You coordinate technical, legal and commercial input between all parties involved.
• Partner contact:You are the main point of contact for suppliers and EPC partners during tender and contract negotiations.
• Process improvement:You help continuously improve our procurement processes.

Who you are

You are analytical, gesstructured and practical ingesYou understand how technology, commerce, and contracts intersect in complex projects and know how to translate this into clear strategies.

• HBO/WO in Business, Engineering or similar.
• 5+ years of experience in procurement, tendering or contracting (preferably in renewable energy or infrastructure).
• Knowledge of contract terms and risk management.
• Experience with BESS, EPCs or major suppliers is a plus.
• Experience with UAV, UAV-GC, and project financing is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to connect interests.
• At ease in a dynamic, fast-growing organization.
