TenneT is seeking a Contract & Claim Manager to oversee contractual and commercial risks on complex offshore projects in the Netherlands. You will manage claims, negotiate variations, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure reliable, affordable and sustainable energy delivery.
The role sits in the Offshore organization, within a Portfolio department, with a couple of days onsite in Arnhem and extensive interaction with stakeholders across Europe.

As a Contract & Claim Manager, you are responsible for managing contractual and commercial risks within complex offshore projects, ensuring that the Netherlands can continue to rely on reliable, affordable and sustainable energy.
Your Responsibilities
You will operate within TenneT’s Offshore organization, consisting of nearly 700 professionals. The role is part of the GE Seatrium Portfolio department of approximately 60 colleagues within Project Delivery. You will work closely with two fellow Contract Managers and interact with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders. While contractual compliance is essential, long-term partnerships remain at the heart of the approach. By fostering transparency, constructive dialogue and mutual understanding, you help prevent disputes and contribute to sustainable collaboration with contractors.
Offshore is responsible for the development, construction, and management of the offshore electricity grid. With the North Sea as the green engine of the energy transition, Offshore plays a clear and vital role within TenneT’s organisational structure. The Offshore division manages the entire lifecycle of all TenneT offshore installations, from development and realisation to maintenance and handover to the Operate division. A crucial task is the construction of 2 GW offshore ‘sockets’, which collect and transport generated wind energy to the mainland.
