Job summary

Cleopatra Enterprise is seeking a Content Specialist to tell the stories behind our largest capital projects. You’ll transform complex topics into clear, engaging content that educates, inspires and builds trust with project professionals across the globe.

You’ll work with a small marketing team to create high-quality content, including thought leadership articles, customer success stories, website copy, emails and social media.

Qualifications

• Around 3–6 years of experience in content marketing, copywriting, journalism or a similar role.
• Exceptional written English (native or near-native).
• Strong interviewing and storytelling skills.
• Ability to translate complex or technical subjects into engaging content.
• Experience writing long-form and short-form content.
• Proactive mindset and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

At Cleopatra Enterprise, we help organizations make those decisions with confidence. Our software supports project teams around the world in estimating, planning and controlling complex capital projects, from energy and chemicals to mining and infrastructure.

As our Content Specialist, you’ll help tell those stories.

You’ll transform complex topics into clear, engaging content that educates, inspires and builds trust with project professionals across the globe.

If you’re someone who loves writing, enjoys asking questions and gets excited about turning complex ideas into compelling stories, you’ll probably feel right at home.

What you’ll do

You’ll become the voice behind much of Cleopatra’s external communication, helping customers understand our products, expertise and vision through compelling content.

Your work will include:

• Writing thought leadership articles and blog posts
• Developing customer success stories and use cases
• Writing compelling website copy, product pages, email campaigns, newsletters, copy for social media and other digital channels
• Interviewing customers, consultants and internal subject matter experts
• Translating complex software capabilities into clear customer value
• Keeping website content accurate and up to date
• Contributing ideas for new content opportunities and campaigns

While your primary focus will be creating high-quality content, you’ll work closely with the wider marketing team (4 FTE) and are encouraged to contribute ideas on campaigns, SEO and content strategy where relevant.

What we’re looking for

We’re looking for an experienced content professional who combines exceptional writing skills with curiosity and the ability to quickly understand complex topics.

You’ll likely have:

• Around 3–6 years of experience in content marketing, copywriting, journalism or a similar role
• Exceptional written English (native or near-native proficiency)
• Strong interviewing and storytelling skills
• The ability to translate complex or technical subjects into engaging, accessible content
• Experience writing both long-form and short-form content
• A proactive mindset and the confidence to work independently
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Experience working in a B2B environment is a strong advantage. Experience with SaaS is welcome, but not required. You preferably live a maximum of 45 km from Zwijndrecht.

Nice to have

• Experience interviewing customers or subject matter experts
• Familiarity with AI tools that support the content creation process
• Experience working with a CMS such as WordPress
• Basic understanding of SEO best practices
