Job description

Our consultants love combining technique and economics. With different projects for different big players in the field, they learn every day and keep growing.

As an Implementation Consultant at Cleopatra Enterprise, you play a key role in the successful implementation of our in-house developed project controls platform, Cleopatra Enterprise, at leading global organizations. You understand complex industrial workflows and translate them into practical, high-quality solutions within the Cleopatra ecosystem. Beyond system implementation, you help clients embed the platform into their organization, ensuring that end-users adopt the new way of working and that the client becomes self‑sustaining in the use and governance of their business processes.

In this position, you take ownership of the full implementation lifecycle, from initial requirements gathering and process optimization to final configuration, training, and go‑live support. You work closely with client stakeholders to ensure that the solution is not only delivered, but also adopted effectively, with the right governance, ownership, and capabilities in place for long‑term success.

What you are going to do

  • Process Analysis & Advisory: You analyze the client's current project control and cost engineering workflows. You act as a consultant, advising on practical improvements and industry best practices to strengthen project performance and support a smooth transition to new ways of working.
  • Advanced Software Configuration: You translate business requirements into software setups, including the development of custom dashboards, cost models, and reporting structures.
  • Project Management: You manage your own portfolio of clients, ensuring that implementation projects are delivered on time, within scope, and at the highest quality standard. You proactively identify risks to adoption and address barriers that could slow down successful rollout and long‑term use.
  • Stakeholder Management & Training: You lead workshops and training sessions for senior stakeholders and end‑users, helping users adopt the platform effectively and ensuring clients have the knowledge, ownership, and support structure needed to work independent after go‑live.
  • Continuous Improvement: You act as a bridge between the client, Sales, and our Development team. You identify client needs and recurring implementation challenges, and translate these into improvements to our software and implementation approach.
Skills & qualifications
  • Who You Are We are looking for a professional with a solid foundation in a technical, consultancy, or project environment, who is ready to take ownership in client‑facing implementation projects.
  • Education: You hold a bachelor's or master's degree, for example in Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Business Information Technology, Econometrics, or a related field.
  • Experience: You have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in software implementation, technical consultancy, project controls, cost engineering, or a related environment.
  • Analytical mindset: You are analytically strong and able to structure complex information, understand client processes, and translate requirements into practical solutions.
  • Communication: You communicate confidently with different stakeholder groups, from end‑users and subject matter experts to senior management. You are fluent in English. Proficiency in Dutch and/or Spanish is a strong plus.
  • Adoption and improvement: You understand that successful implementation is not only about delivering a solution, but also about helping users adopt it effectively in their daily work. Experience with user adoption, process improvement, or change management is a plus.
  • Travel: You are comfortable traveling internationally for client projects, typically in blocks of one or two weeks, while maintaining a home base in the Netherlands.

What We Offer

  • A challenging and varied role in an international and growing company, where you combine technology, consultancy, and project controls.
  • The opportunity to work on complex capital projects across industries such as energy, infrastructure, and heavy industry.
  • A high level of ownership and responsibility, with room to grow in both your technical and consulting skills.
  • Support for your professional development, including relevant training, courses, and certifications such as DACE, AACE, or Prosci.
  • An informal and collaborative working environment with short lines of communication and an international team.
Join our team

Your role involves collaborating with global customers from our home office or their locations. Project Spotlight

Estimating for the worlds' primary functional nuclear fusion reactor.

ITER is an international nuclear fusion research and engineering megaproject. Built in France through collaboration of 7 countries, ITER relies on our consultancy services to make sure the construction of their Tokamak reactor stays within budget.

Colleague Experiences

I had a desire to acquire work experience abroad, and I found it here. After a year of attending the traineeship programme and participating in some smaller assignments, I went to France about a year and a half. Now I'm in Cologne and after that, it's back to France. If you need a highly varied job with the occasional abroad experience, you'll feel right at home at Cleopatra Enterprise.
