Job summary

BCD Travel is seeking a Consultant, Service Development to drive successful delivery of initiatives within the Service and Commercial Development team. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand impact and ensure the solution meets business requirements.

As a subject matter expert, you will coordinate resources for new processes, technology, and multinational practices, while supporting project task completion with operations and local leaders.

Qualifications

• Extensive corporate travel industry experience including customer-facing operations.
• Proficient in doing customer discovery and documentation.
• Thorough knowledge of internal BCD Travel operational processes and services.
• Extensive knowledge of BCD Travel client and internal technologies (GDS, scripts, TA, OBT’s, fulfillment technology etc.).
• Good communication and influencing skills with a proven history of successfully collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent oral and written English language skills.

Consultant, Service Development (Remote)

Full time, Spain, Netherlands, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Poland, United Kingdom

If you are located in the Warsaw area, you will need to work in-office for 50% of working time monthly. If you are located in the Kraków and Rzeszów areas, you will need to work in-office at least 1 day per week.

The Consultant, Service Development will contribute to the successful delivery of projects and initiatives within the Service and Commercial Development team. This position will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure understanding of each initiative and its impact to our organization to assure that the solution we create addresses the business requirements.

The role will serve as support for project task completion, working closely with Operations and local leaders to implement business best practices for the assigned areas.

The Consultant, Service Development coordinates resources and works as subject matter expert for successful implementation of new processes, technology and multinational practices based on local specifics.

As a Consultant, Service Development, you will

• Support initiatives and ensure all project standards are adhered to and the agreed business benefits are realized
• Serve as a process, project and/or product subject matter expert
• Serve as liaison point between the account, the region and the project team
• Facilitate effective communication as required for successful project completion
• Coordinate resources for successful implementations of new processes, standardizations and technology
• Analyze business issues, defines possible solutions aiming for the best productivity increase

About you

• Prior corporate travel industry experience including customer-facing agency operations
• Proficient in doing customer discovery and documentation
• Thorough knowledge of all aspects of the internal BCD Travel operational processes and services
• Extensive knowledge of BCD Travel client and internal technologies (GDS, scripts, TA, OBT’s, fulfillment technology etc.)
• Good communication and influencing skills with a proven history of successfully collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Excellent oral and written English language skills

This position is advertised across multiple European locations. The expected annual gross salary ranges by country are as follows:

• Spain: 28,000 - 38,500 Euros Annually
• France: 33,000 - 36,000 Euros Annually
• Poland: 78,000 - 125,000 Polish Zloty Annually
• Germany: 53,000 - 62,000 Euros Annually
• Netherlands: 42,000 - 60,000 Euros Annually
• Czech Republic: 750,000 - 820,000 Koruna Annually

The final salary offered will ultimately depend on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and location, and will be determined in line with internal equity.
