Job summary

AiCura is seeking a Construction Project Manager for Amsterdam (Hybrid) to lead end-to-end construction initiatives within Mars Veterinary Health Europe’s network. You will oversee relocations, refurbishments, and new builds, driving safety, quality, and schedule adherence across European sites.

The role reports to the Senior Construction Project Manager in a dynamic, region-spanning team and requires strong collaboration with architects, engineers, and regional PMOs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a Construction Project Delivery leadership role with proven delivery of on-time, on-budget projects.
• Strong knowledge of EU health and safety legislation across multiple regions (NL/FR/DK/BE/SE).
• Willingness to travel across Europe as required for project success.
• Multilingual capabilities (English plus French, Dutch, Danish or Swedish) are strong assets.

Responsibilities

The team

This role is a key part of the Global REFM (Real Estate & Facilities Management) team, reporting to the Senior Construction Project Manager. You will be instrumental in delivering the strategic agenda for Mars Petcare's 2030 goals. You'll work in a dynamic environment, covering the North West Europe region (France, Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, and Norway) and collaborating closely with architects, engineers, the Senior Cost and Programme Manager, and Regional PMO teams to deliver projects safely and efficiently.

What we're looking for

• 8+ years in a Construction Project Delivery leadership role with proven success in delivering projects on time and to budget.
• Strong knowledge of EU, French, Danish, Dutch, Belgian, and Swedish construction health and safety legislation.
• Experience with diverse project types, including developer-led projects, greenfield, refurbishments, and asset replacement roll-outs.
• Willingness to travel across Europe as required for project success.
• Nice to have: Pan-European project scope experience and multilingual skills (especially English + French / Dutch / Danish / Swedish) are strong assets.
