Job summary

Forexx Group is seeking a Medior Engineer Configuration Management in the Netherlands to ensure configuration consistency and traceability across the shipbuilding lifecycle. You will guide CMPs, maintain data environments, and validate technical data for customers and suppliers.

Join a globally collaborating team, work with PDM/PLM systems (3DX), and help drive continuous improvement while coordinating with engineering, production, quality, and project management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering and maritime experience are preferred.
• Proven configuration management experience and familiarity with PLM/PDM tools.
• Strong systems engineering knowledge and data handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Define and implement Configuration Management Plans (CMPs) for large-scale projects.
• Set up and maintain product structures, master document lists, and data environments.
• Validate incoming and outgoing technical data from customers and suppliers.
• Ensure change control processes and monitor implementation across departments.
• Work with PDM/PLM systems (ideally 3DX) to structure complex data.
• Provide guidance and training on configuration management best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement with process enhancements.
