• Several years of experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or category management.
• Proven experience managing indirect procurement categories such as IT services, professional services, facilities management, or workforce solutions.
• Strong negotiation and supplier relationship management skills.
• Experience managing tender processes and commercial contract negotiations.
• Excellent stakeholder management capabilities across different organizational levels.
• Experience with spend analysis, cost optimization, and value creation initiatives.
• The ability to work independently within an international matrix organization.
• Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier selection processes, tenders, RFQs, and commercial evaluations.

• Identify cost optimization opportunities and contribute to procurement transformation initiatives.
• Analyze spend data and market developments to support strategic decision-making.
• Manage supplier risks and ensure business continuity within critical service categories.
• Act as a trusted procurement partner for internal stakeholders by understanding business requirements and delivering effective solutions.
• Support contract lifecycle management, renewals, and supplier governance activities.
• Ensure compliance with Airbus procurement policies, processes, and applicable regulations.
• Provide reporting on procurement performance, including spend, savings, supplier performance, and key initiatives.

The position

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies across a broad range of indirect procurement categories, including professional services, consultancy, IT services, facilities management, temporary workforce solutions, logistics services, and other business support functions. As a key procurement partner, you will create value through strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, contract negotiations, cost optimization, and risk mitigation.
