Job summary

Boskalis Subsea Cables is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead commercial relationship management, market intelligence, and business development. You will monitor Offshore Renewables and Interconnector markets, analyze competitors, track vessel activities, and translate insights into actionable strategies to grow our business.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in commercial, business development, market intelligence, tendering, or procurement.
• Affinity with Offshore Energy, Renewables or Maritime industries.
• Enjoys analyzing markets, competitors, and business opportunities.
• Experience working in an international environment.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Willing to travel internationally when required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor offshore renewables and interconnector markets and translate into commercial opportunities.
• Conduct market intelligence and competitor analyses to support strategic decisions.
• Track vessel activities, project developments, and market trends to identify opportunities.
• Support development and maintenance of market databases, customer intelligence, and opportunity pipelines.
• Understand client drivers and contribute to long-term partnerships.
• Support commercial negotiations and tailor solutions for clients.
• Challenge tender teams to align proposals with client needs and market developments.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of the Boskalis Subsea Cables commercial strategy.
