Job summary

Maintec in Zwijndrecht is seeking an experienced CNC Turner who can independently set up, program, and operate large CNC turning machines for custom-made production.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Siemens control systems and the ability to read technical drawings. The position offers a net salary of around €600 per week, 25 vacation days, and a pension scheme from the first working day.

Accommodation and transport are arranged by Maintec, along with healthcare insurance and practical support.

Job description

For our client in Zwijndrecht, a specialized machine‑building company in the Netherlands, we are looking for an experienced CNC Turner who can independently set up, program, and operate large CNC turning machines for custom‑made production.

Main responsibilities

• Setting up and operating CNC turning machines
• Programming and adjusting programs with Siemens controls
• Working independently from technical drawings
• Machining large workpieces with high precision
• Performing quality checks and measurements
• Selecting tools and machining parameters
• Producing custom‑made components and single pieces

You will mainly work on a

• Doosan XL 800 CNC lathe
• 4‑jaw chuck up to Ø1080 mm
• Length between centers approximately 5200 mm

Qualifications

• Good English language skills and driving licence are mandatory
• Experience as a CNC Turner with Siemens control systems and CNC programming
• Ability to independently read technical drawings
• Experience with measuring tools and quality control
• Experience working with different metal materials
• Experience with large CNC lathes is an advantage
• EU citizenship is mandatory

Employment conditions

• Net salary around €600 per week
• Weekly salary payments
