Job summary

Conver BV in Zeeland, part of The Alamo Group Netherlands, seeks an experienced CNC machinist to operate and program CNC machines (Okuma, Correa) in our workshop. Produce high-quality components and assume responsibility for measurement and quality.

You will contribute to process improvements, work from work orders and drawings, and collaborate in a small team. We offer a market-competitive salary under the Dutch Metalworking CLA and 38 days off, plus Fridays off at 15:15 for a 40-hour week.

Qualifications

• Affinitiy with the metal industry or a completed education in metalworking.
• 3-5 years of CNC turning and milling experience in a production environment.
• Experience programming, setting up, and optimising CNC machines (Okuma or Correa advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor CNC machines (Okuma, Correa).
• Write and optimise CNC programmes for lathes, milling machines, or machining centers.
• Check and install programmes in the machine control system and archive properly.
• Contribute to production discussions and propose solutions via graphical simulations.
• Work independently on components from work orders and drawings, measuring and ensuring quality.
