Job summary

De Cromvoirtse in the Netherlands seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to translate customer requests into clear work programs and ensure orders move smoothly through the shop floor. You will coordinate between sales, work preparation and production, creating CNC programs for plate lasers and optimizing drawings.

You will plan machine usage, check program performance, support material readiness, and contribute to continuous improvement while adhering to safety and process standards.

Qualifications

• MBO level working and thinking is required.
• Knowledge of 2D/3D CAD/CAM and drawing software, or willingness to learn.
• Affinity with automation, technology and innovation.
• Experience as a Manufacturing Engineer in a production environment is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• You create CNC programs for plate lasers and sorting systems.
• You adjust and optimize supplied technical drawings.
• You ensure purchasing has all necessary information about required materials to maintain proper stock levels.
• You plan the efficient use of machines.
• You participate in team meetings and toolbox sessions.
• You check whether programs run optimally on the machines.
• You prevent and resolve issues in the Kasto storage system and machines by adjusting programs.
• You help assess product quality and make adjustments through programming.
• You work according to established processes and safety regulations.
