Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking a senior Cluster Manager Procurement for the BeNe region, overseeing Procurement Specialists (3 headcount) in the Netherlands and Belgium. The role emphasizes strategic stakeholder management, with a focus on aligning local, regional and global interests and driving procurement excellence.

You will lead with structure, set direction for BeNe, and manage both strategy and execution, including change management and engagement across stakeholders and vendors.

Job description

At CEVA Logistics, we are looking for a Cluster Manager Procurement for our BeNe-organization. As Cluster Manager Procurement, you are responsible for our Procurement team in the Netherlands and Belgium. You operate in an international environment, engaging with stakeholders at local, regional, and global level. The emphasis of this position is clearly on strategic stakeholder management: you know how to bring different interests together, you're diplomatically strong, and you act as a strategic partner for the business, international colleagues and external vendors.

You will manage a team of Procurement Specialists (3 headcount), each with their own scope of responsibility. In doing so, you provide clear direction, ensure alignment within the Procurement team, and set a clear course for the department in the Netherlands and Belgium. You are self-managing, you bring structure, and you have a clear vision of how procurement can continue to develop within the BeNe-organization.

In this position, you thus combine strategy, leadership, and execution power. You not only manage your operational goals, but also how to build and engage your team and how to manage your stakeholders.

In summary, within this role you are, among other things, responsible for:

• Driving cost savings, supplier performance, and the further professionalisation of Procurement in the BeNe-cluster;
• Initiating and managing tenders, negotiations, and procurement projects;
• Developing and implementing category and supplier strategies;
• Monitoring compliance with procurement policies, contractual agreements, and commercial terms;
• Identifying risks within the supplier base and act where necessary;
• Guiding the team through change and know how to connect employees to the department’s direction.

WHERE WILL YOU WORK?

CEVA Logistics is a leading international logistics service provider. Within the BeNe-region, we operate more than 50 sites across 30 locations, representing 1.3 million m² of warehouse capacity within Contract Logistics and e-Commerce. In addition, we provide supply chain solutions in Airfreight, Oceanfreight, Ground & Rail, and Finished Vehicle Logistics (FVL).

Your base location is our Be-Ne headquarters in Zaltbommel, but you will regularly travel to locations or suppliers across the BeNe-region. Therefore, you will have a great deal of flexibility in organising your own agenda, working hours, and work location, including the possibility to work from home. You will report to the Global Procurement Vice President and have a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Country Head BeNe.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for a senior procurement professional with a tactical mindset, strong leadership skills, and a good understanding of organisational dynamics. You are confident, independent, and know how to make an impact at all levels of the organisation as well as with external vendors. You are able to balance different interests in a diplomatic and results-oriented way and naturally take ownership in driving initiatives forward. In addition, you have experience in creating structure, optimising processes, and implementing improvements within a team or organisation.

In addition, you bring the following:

• At least 7 years of relevant work experience in procurement / purchasing;
• Experience in a strategic role with extensive stakeholder management;
• Experience in managing, coaching, or developing a team;
• The ability to operate at different levels, from operational to global;
• Strong communication skills combined with a diplomatic and professional approach;
• Fluency in both in Dutch and English, spoken and written;
• Availability for 32 to 40 hours per week.
