Job summary

Brineworks, an Amsterdam-based climate tech startup, seeks a Business Development and Operations Intern to support strategy, partnerships, and market intelligence. You’ll map ecosystems, track policy & funding, and help prepare applications for competitions and conferences.

You’ll also assist with day-to-day operations, organize events, and help with logistics as the team grows. Hybrid balance with studies is possible.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in final year of a Bachelor's or in a Master's program at a European university.
• Based in the Netherlands or able to relocate to Amsterdam for duration of internship.
• Genuinely enjoys research and can synthesize findings into useful outputs.
• Strong writing skills and ability to communicate complex topics clearly.

Responsibilities

• Support Head of Strategy and Business Development on day-to-day priorities across strategy and business development.
• Research national and regional energy landscapes across Europe and beyond.
• Keep map of industry players up to date (competitors, partners, offtakers, enablers).
• Track funding landscape for sustainable and climate projects across countries.
• Build briefings, market maps, and country deep-dives for business decisions.
• Support outreach by profiling potential partners, customers, and stakeholders.
