Job summary

Skytree in Amsterdam seeks an R&D Engineer Intern to contribute to innovative carbon capture technology. This full-time internship spans 3-6 months, focusing on tasks from assembly and testing of laboratory equipment to independent research projects.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Master’s in a relevant technical field, enjoy hands-on work, and have a passion for tackling climate challenges. A competitive allowance of €550 is offered alongside a flexible hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on, enjoy tinkering with electronics and hardware.
• Completed or nearing completion of a Master's degree in Technical discipline.
• Experience with data analysis, CAD software or SCADA systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test and benchmark sorbent lifetime testing equipment.
• Maintain and modify R&D Testing Lab equipment.
• Conduct independent research project.

Skills

Hands-on experience with electronics and hardware

Data analysis (Python)

CAD software (Inventor, Fusion)

Experience with sensors (temperature, pressure, humidity)

Clear communication in English

First principles thinking
