Hyatt Regency Amsterdam is seeking a passionate Chef de Partie for Mama Makan, the Indonesian restaurant within our vibrant Plantage hotel. You will join a dynamic kitchen team, craft authentic Indonesian dishes with Mama’s twist, and ensure consistent quality across all traditional dishes.

You have at least 1 year as Commis/Kitchen Assistant, love Indonesian cuisine, good English and ideally Dutch, and know HACCP principles.

Competenze

• You have at least 1 year of experience as Commis / Kitchen Assistant.
• Excellent English communication skills; Dutch is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of HACCP and food safety practices.

Mansioni

• Prepare and plate Indonesian dishes with Mama’s twist in a busy restaurant.
• Support and supervise a kitchen team, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety in the kitchen.

Someone who loves Indonesian food and everything that revolves around it. The Commis Chef is a team player and an important asset to the whole kitchen team. Someone who cooks for MAMA MAKAN guests like looking at home for his/her own guests.

• A motivated team player with hands‑on mentality, who likes to supervise the team while being able to teach and join in preparing all of our traditional Indonesian dishes, with Mama’s twist;

Your experience

• You have at least 1 year of experience working as Commis / Kitchen Assistant;
• You love Indonesian Cuisine, having some experience or eagerness to learn more about it;
• You have good language and communication skills in English and preferably in Dutch as well;
• You know all about HACCP;
• You have a flexible schedule and do not mind working in evenings, weekends and/or holidays;
• You are legally allowed to work in the Netherlands, holding an EU/EEA passport or a valid work permit for the country (we do not assist with Visa / permit applications).
