Voi in Amersfoort is hiring a fleet specialist to drive an e-van, collect, recharge and move vehicles across the city and warehouse. You will swap batteries, keep vehicles clean and ready for riders, and log tasks in the operations app. Training is provided, no prior mechanical experience needed.

Full-time contract with extra pay for evenings, nights, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays. The role requires a valid Netherlands B licence, good English, and willingness to work varied shifts

Your mission at Voi

At Voi, we’re on a mission to build cities made for living, free from noise and pollution. As a fleet specialist in Amersfoort, you’ll keep our vehicles safe, charged and ready to ride.

Do you have a category B driving licence (rijbewijs B) and like being out on the road? You’ll split your time between the streets of Amersfoort and our warehouse, driving a company e-van to collect, recharge and move our fleet to where riders need it. Full training provided, so you don’t need any mechanical experience.

Full-time contract, and evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays pay extra: up to 85% on top of your base salary.

What you’ll do

• Drive our e-van around Amersfoort to collect, drop off and move vehicles to where they’re needed
• Swap batteries so every vehicle is ready to ride
• Tidy up parking so pavements stay clear and safe
• Do basic checks and simple repairs. No experience needed; we’ll train you.
• Keep vehicles clean and in good condition
• Log your tasks in our operations app

What you’ll need to embark

• A category B driving licence valid in the Netherlands, and confidence driving a van in city traffic
• The right to work in the Netherlands
• To live in or near Amersfoort and be able to get to our warehouse on your own, as many shifts start early or finish late
• Flexibility to work evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays
• The ability to lift up to 30 kg
• Good spoken English, as English is our working language
• A VOG (Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag). We’ll ask you to request one before you start.
• A hands-on attitude and a willingness to learn. You don’t need mechanical experience.

Job conditions

• Contract: Full-time, 6-month fixed-term
• Salary: We’ll share your base salary on your first call with our Talent Acquisition team
• Extra pay: evenings +30%, nights +50%, Saturdays +47%, Sundays and public holidays +85% (or time off in lieu), overtime +28.5% for the first 2 hours each week, then +47%
• Working hours: Shifts run across the day and include evenings, nights, weekends and public holidays, all with extra pay
