Job summary

Voi is hiring a fleet specialist in Amersfoort to ensure e-scooters and e-bikes are charged, safe, and ready to ride. You will drive a company van to move and recharge the fleet, splitting time between the streets and the warehouse. No prior mechanical experience is required as full training is provided.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid category B driving license for the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

• Swap batteries to keep vehicles ready for rides.
• Drive a company van around Amersfoort to move and position vehicles.
• Tidy up parking to keep pavements clear and safe.
• Perform basic checks and simple repairs; training provided.
• Keep vehicles clean and in good condition.
• Log tasks in the operations app.

Your mission at Voi

At Voi, we're on a mission to build cities made for living, free from noise and pollution. As a fleet specialist in Amersfoort, you'll keep our e-scooters and e-bikes safe, charged and ready to ride. You'll split your time between the streets of Amersfoort and our warehouse, driving a company e-van to maintain and recharge our fleet and move it to where riders need it. Full training provided, so you don't need any mechanical experience.

Work evenings, nights or weekends? You'll earn up to 85% extra.

• Drive our van around Amersfoort to collect, drop off and move our vehicles to where they're needed
• Tidy up parking so pavements stay clear and safe
• Do basic checks and simple repairs. No experience needed; we'll train you.
• Keep vehicles clean and in good condition
• Log your tasks in our operations app

What you'll need to embark

• A category B driving licence valid in the Netherlands, and confidence driving a van in city traffic
• The ability to lift up to 30 kg
• Good spoken English, as English is our working language
• Flexibility to work shifts that include evenings, nights and weekends
• A VOG (Verklaring Omtrent het Gedrag). We'll ask you to request one before you start.

Job conditions

• Contract: 6-month fixed-term
• Salary: We'll share your base salary on your first call with our Talent Acquisition team
• Extra pay: evenings (20:00–00:00) +30%, nights (00:00–07:00) +50%, Saturdays +47%, Sundays and public holidays +85% (or time off in lieu), overtime +28.5% for the first 2 hours each week, then +47%
• Working hours: We need flexibility. Shifts run across the day and include evenings, nights and weekends, and these hours earn extra pay (see above)
