Job summary

Are you passionate about building scalable and secure AI-powered chatbot solutions that create real value for users? Do you enjoy combining software engineering, cloud technologies, and Generative AI to solve complex business challenges? Then we're looking for you.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO

• Design, build, test, deploy, and operate scalable chatbot and conversational AI solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).


• Develop secure, scalable APIs and backend services, including authentication, authorization, and integrations supporting multiple consumers and use cases.


• Contribute to RAG architectures, retrieval strategies, knowledge ingestion pipelines, and chatbot response optimisation through techniques such as chunking, embeddings, vector search, and evaluation.


• Deploy and operate cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure while contributing to DevOps, automation, Infrastructure as Code, monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.


• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into reliable, secure, maintainable technical solutions and reusable AI platform components.

AN IDEAL PROFILE WOULD BE

• Strong software engineering experience with Python and API design, including building, deploying, and operating applications in production environments.


• Good understanding of Microsoft Azure, cloud-native development, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Bicep.


• Experience designing scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions, with the ability to work across application development and infrastructure; TypeScript or frontend experience is a plus.


• Experience or strong interest in Conversational AI, RAG, and Generative AI, with knowledge of chunking, embeddings, vector search, and agentic workflows being advantageous.


• Strong ownership, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn quickly, challenge assumptions constructively, share knowledge, and drive solutions from idea to production.
