Wypoon Technologies BV in the Netherlands is seeking an experienced AI engineer to design and build production-grade AI agents and LLM-powered applications for enterprise customers.

You will work with LangChain, LangGraph, and RAG architectures, deploy on Kubernetes with Azure, and mentor peers while helping shape secure, scalable AI platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design and build production-grade AI agents with planning, reasoning, and tool-use capabilities.
• Architect stateful agent workflows using orchestration frameworks such as LangGraph or AutoGen.
• Build and productionize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, including data ingestion, embedding strategies, retrieval optimization, and re-ranking.
• Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) with enterprise systems through APIs, tools, and external data sources.
• Optimize retrieval performance, ranking strategies, and overall RAG architecture.
• Establish evaluation frameworks, observability, guardrails, and monitoring for LLM applications, focusing on accuracy, safety, latency, and cost.
• Deploy, maintain, and scale AI applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and Azure cloud services.
• Contribute to technical architecture, mentor fellow engineers, and help define engineering best practices for agentic AI development.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with strong Python development skills.
• Strong English language skills
• Proven experience building and operating production-grade AI agents or autonomous AI systems (beyond proof-of-concepts).
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs, including function calling, tool integration, and orchestration.
• Experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar agent frameworks.
• Strong understanding of RAG architectures, vector databases (e.g. Pinecone, Weaviate, Azure AI Search), and retrieval optimization techniques.
• Experience with prompt engineering, LLM evaluation, safety mechanisms, and AI quality assurance.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (Azure is preferred).
• Familiarity with backend development using frameworks such as FastAPI and microservices architecture.

Nice to Have

• Experience building reusable AI platforms or internal developer tooling.
• Experience with enterprise-scale AI deployments and MLOps practices.
• Knowledge of observability and monitoring for LLM-based applications.
